Roger S. Thomson, D.V.M.

Dr. Thomson has been a practicing dairy veterinarian for 38 years. He has worked in both Ohio and Michigan, and has clients ranging in size from 30 to 3500 cows. Dr. Thomson grew up on a dairy farm in Southern Michigan, which gives him an appreciation for the economic and management challenges that face dairy owners and managers.

Dr. Thomson launched his own, all-dairy practice in 1988 named Team Management Concepts because he believes strongly in the power of teamwork.  Teamwork is essential for any successful business and critical for the approach consultants should use when working together supporting common clients.

The past 20 years he has been focusing on milk quality as a specialty.  Six years ago he launched his second business called MQ-IQ Consulting.  In 2016 he has sold Team Management Concepts to his long time associate and is now spending 100% of his time performing milk quality consulting for both individual and corporate customers throughout the US and internationally.

In 2010 Dr. Thomson imagined a way to improve his efforts at training veterinarians and others in the fundamentals of NMC protocol based milking system evaluations.  This resulted in the creation of The Teaching Parlor®, a one of a kind, portable milking system simulator.  With the help of many friends he was able to bring this dream into reality, which he now uses to perfect the skills of individuals striving to improve their effectiveness as milk quality consultants.  You can see more details about The Teaching Parlor® at mqiqconsulting.com.

了解更多关于The Teaching Parlor®,在mqiqconsulting.com.
